July 2012 Class Glass Racing set a new landspeed record in H / Blown Gas Modified Roadster of 142.633 mph at the ECTA meet in Willmington, Ohio. This was the final run with the Yamaha FJ1200 engine.
We are currently rebuilding the car to move up in class to F / Blown Gas Modified Roadster. We stretched the wheel base out to 145 inches, narrowed the front axle and lowered the car 7 inches. The new power plant will be a Ford 2.3L turbo charge, fuel injected 4 cylinder. We expect to be at the April meet in Ohio.
June and July 2013 we ran some shake down passes at 10 lbs of boost and set the record in F/BFMR at 155.9792 mph. We will be back in June of 2014 to make a full run now that we have made some adjustments to the car.
